He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia Murphy (Conklin) and Joseph Murphy; and his brother Charles Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Murphy; his daughter Kelsey Murphy-Yackanicz (Michael); his siblings, Brian Murphy (Jennifer), Kathleen Heicher (Edwin) and Maureen Ryder (James); his sister-in-law Tammy Murphy (Charles); and his pets, Reese and Tiger. He is also survived by one niece, and four nephews.
