With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Clarence Pryor Jr. of Hancock, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Clarence left this world on July 30, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pryor and Vera Clark Pryor; his former wife Hilda Boden Pryor; his siblings, Elwood Pryor, Helen Sharpe, Florence Bivins and Gladys Gruszczynski; his grandson Randy Beddow; and his half-brother Donnie Pryor.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Jane Pryor; his children, Tom Pryor (Beverly) of Hancock, MD and Regina Beddow (Richard) of Harpers Ferry, WV; his grandchildren, Tim, Steve, Cole, Richard and Becky; his sister Joan Grooms of West Virginia; and his half-sister Connie Hovemale. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home (141 W Main St, Hancock, MD 21750). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (602 Thompson Rd, Needmore, PA 17238).
