He is survived by : his children, Melodie D. Deshong (Jeff) and David Joseph "Joey" Diehl II (Mark) of Hagerstown, MD.; his grandchildren, Levi, Dakota, Alec and Abigail; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jaxon, Carter and Baby Brooks David; his grandchildren, Best Life Friend and Brenda Bishop; and his siblings, Donnie Landers (Janice) and Linda Haupt (Ragan). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
