It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emory Harrison Fleegle Jr. of Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Harrison Fleegle, Sr. and Hallie Jane Corbett Fleegle; his daughter Heather D. Fleegle; and his brothers, Bill Fleegle, Bob Fleegle and Earl Fleegle.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Munday Fleegle; his children, Dixie L. Lanehart (Charlie) of Hancock, MD, Emory H. Fleegle, III (Erika) of Needmore, PA and Anthony S. "Tony" Fleegle of Hancock, MD; his siblings, Cindy Revell of Big Pool, MD, Beverly Line of Hagerstown, MD and Jim Fleegle of Berkeley Springs, WV; and his grandchildren, Huntley Fleegle, Cecilia Lanehart, Kendall Fleegle and Brittney Hernandez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
