With sadness, we share the passing of Ernest Chester Younker of Hancock, Maryland. Ernest, born on September 30, 1942, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Younker and Goldie Ray Barnhart; his wife Jeanie Ann Younker; his stepfather Webster "Boss" Barnhart; and his siblings, Glenn Ray and Janet Kegarise.
He is survived by: his children, Ernie C. Younker (Amanda) of Hancock, MD and Lisha L. Keebaugh of Hancock, MD; his grandchildren, Jamie Myers, Abigail Bovey and Sara Bovey; and his siblings, Henry C. Younker of Hancock, MD and Freda Kerns of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Orchard Ridge First Church of God (14128 Orchard Ridge Rd, Hancock, MD 21750). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Orchard Ridge First Church of God (13642 Orchard Ridge Rd, Hancock, MD 21750). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Orchard Ridge Cemetery (14128 Orchard Ridge Rd, Hancock, MD 21750).
