It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Eugene Keefer Sr. of Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Martin Keefer and Catherine Virginia Thompson Brake; his sister Mary Lou Thompson Trail; and his son-in-law Boyd Gearhart Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Thompson Keefer; his sister Barbara Keefer; his children, Brenda Lee Dool (Tony) of Hancock, Gary Eugene Keefer Jr. (Kim) of Berkeley Springs, WVA and Richard Todd Keefer (Missy) of Berkeley Springs, WVA; his sister-in-law Linda Smith (Arthur) of Berkeley Springs, WVA; his sibling's children, Carol Ann Trail of Hagerstown, MD. and Chris Weller of Hancock, MD.; his grandchildren, Gary L. Keefer (Beth) of Berkeley Springs, WVA, Kevin Keefer of Berkley Springs, WVA., Brittany Knable (Billy) of Hagerstown, MD, BJ Gearhart of Hancock, MD., Lynette Stotler (Andrew) of Berkeley Springs, WVA., Sarah Spielman (Brady) of Berkeley Springs, WVA., Brandon Keefer (Kaylee) of Berkley Springs, WVA., Kenny Trail, Beth Fischer, Michele Sullivan and BJ Weller; his great grandchildren, Alyssa Keefer (Mason), Jenna Keefer, Remington Stotler, Gabriella Knable, Jackie Keefer, Stella Spielman, Charley Keefer, Caleb Knable, Lincoln Spielman, Addison Knable, Dominik Clark, Rilynn Clark, Dylynn Clark, Teirnann Clark, Brandon Fischer, Brian Sullivan, Kylee Sullivan, Marlee Sullivan, Charlee Sullivan, Taylor Weller, Mya Weller, Blanden Trail, Charlie Trail, Isabella Trail, John Trail, Kaidence Trail and Ayrhianna Trail; and his children, Cathy Baker, Jamie Carr, Jimmy Trail and Michael Trail.
