Harry Lowe Powers III Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Lowe Powers III of Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. II and Helen J. Blenard Powers II; his daughter Randi Wishard; and his sisters, Beverly Exline and Bonita Brannon.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores J. Powers of Hancock, MD; his children, Harry L. Powers IV (Billi) of Hagerstown, MD, Richard L. Powers of Florida, Timothy L. Powers of Virginia, Robin Norris (Mike) of Little Orleans, MD, Amy Trout (Timothy) of Hancock, MD and Rhonda Orndorff of Berkeley Springs, WV; and his sister Krista Conway of Hagerstown, MD. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hancock United Methodist Church (170 W Main St, Hancock, MD 21750). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations in Harry's name can be made to Hancock United Methodist Church.
