She was predeceased by: her grandparents, George, Fayetta Egolf and Robert Lee Funk. She is survived by: her parents, Dwayne Funk and Kathy Funk of Hancock, MD.; her husband John Appel; and her siblings, Olivia Swadley (Benjamin) of Needmore, PA, Leah Yonker (Chad) of Warfordsburg, PA and Ryan Funk (Candace) of Warfordsburg, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help defray funeral costs.
