She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman H. Mellott and Zella Blanche Mellott Moss; her daughter Kathy J. McFadden; her grandchildren, Eric L. McFadden and Erica D. Burnett; her daughter-in-law Jackie L. McFadden; and her sister Linda L. Sowers.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth R. McFadden; her children, Anna Douglas (Dean), Robin Burnett (Donnie) and Dwayne McFadden; her grandchildren, Ashley Wilhelm, Daniel McFadden, Natasha McFadden, Lora Whiteside, Maddasyn McFadden and Darrian Dzuris; and her brother Kenneth Barnhart (Bootsie). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hancock United Methodist Church (170 W Main St, Hancock, MD 21750). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
