We announce the death of Linda Limon Hofe (Hancock, Maryland), born in Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 73. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She is survived by: her husband Tom Hofe; and her children, Michele Mellott of Berkeley Springs, WV, Nathan Hofe of Hedgesville, WV, Becky Lockhart of Hancock, MD, John Henry Hofe of Berkeley Springs, WV and Matthew Hofe of Berkeley Springs, WV.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home (141 W Main St, Hancock, MD 21750).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's name can be made to your local Humane Society.
