We announce the death of Norma Payne (Hancock, Maryland), who passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Schetrompf and Hazel Schetrompf; her husband Frank Payne; and her siblings, Mary "Tissy" King, Kenneth "Nuke" Schetrompf, Lynn "Billy" Schetrompf and Arlie "Dandy" Schetrompf Jr..
She is survived by: her son Norman Schetrompf (Patricia) of Berkeley Springs; her grandsons, Adam Schetrompf (Audrey) of Gilbert, AZ and Jason Schetrompf (Holly) of Berkeley Springs; her great grandchildren, Caleb Schetrompf, Anastasia Schetrompf of Gilbert, AZ, Emily Yost and Madelynn Schetrompf of Berkeley Springs; her sister Arlene Lemmert of Falling Waters; and her sister-in-law Alverda Schetrompf of Hedgesville. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
