Patricia Diane Shoemaker Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 17, 2025, at the age of 72, Patricia Diane Shoemaker of Hancock, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Weller and Helene Harr Weller; her husband Terry "Whitey" Shoemaker; her sister Wilma Strait; and her brothers-in-law, Michael Morris and John Peck.

She is survived by: her great-nieces, Emma Lou and Ella Grace Reed; her son Darrin Sherwood Shoemaker (Marissa); her siblings, Barbara Peck of Warfordsburg, PA, David Weller (Leslie) of Hancock, MD, Debbie Morris of Warfordsburg, PA, Douglas Weller of Warfordsburg, PA, Karen Mellott of Warfordsburg, PA, Russell Weller (Debra) of Great Cacapon, WV and Gary Weller (Millie) of Berkeley Springs, WV; and her brother-in-law William Strait of Warfordsburg, PA. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
