He was predeceased by: his mother Bernadine Mason Unger. He is survived by: his father Melvin Edgar Unger of Berkeley Springs, WV; his wife Bonnie Lou "Queenie" Rinard Unger; his children, Ricky Eugene Unger, Jr. (Kelly) of Gore, VA, Chelsea Nicole Mills (Matthew Butts) of Berkeley Springs, WV, Wesley Todd Unger (Kimmi) of Taneytown, MD and Joshua William Unger of Hancock, MD; his siblings, Thelma Ann Beall (Stan) and Melvin Junior Unger; and his grandchildren, Morgan Hixson, Layndon Unger, Cameron Hixson, Lilli Unger, Lakyin Hixson and David Mills. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hancock Assembly of God (431 N Pennsylvania Ave, Hancock, MD 21750). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
