He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lee Avella; his daughters, Crystal Cheshire (Paul), Stacy Golden (Tracy) and Regina Hann (Terry); his grandchildren, Caleb Cheshire (Nicole), Micah Cheshire (Christina), Eli Cheshire, Jaclyn Mines (Matthew), Madalyn Hixon, David Hixon, Nicole Song, Tanner Barton (Riley), Shawna Barton (Dakota), Kirkland Barton, Camden Barton, Gabrielle Puffenberger (Jesse), Abigail Reed, Lydia Morris (Levi), Elise Reed and Alex Reed; Dawn Reed (Roger Reed II). He is also survived by his great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hancock Assembly of God (431 N Pennsylvania Ave, Hancock, MD 21750). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park (17636 W Washington St, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
