She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wells and Nora Wells (Boyles); her husband James Carpenter; and her siblings, Jerry Riehl and Jean DeBan.
She is survived by: her children, James Carpenter (Nancy), Rose Redd of Hanover and Nora Perri of Hanover; and her siblings, Joan Wallen, Sandy Hoffman and Larry Wells. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens (2150 Mt View Rd, Marriottsville, MD 21104).
