Jon Stairs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jon Stairs of Harwood, Maryland, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jon departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jon. Though Jon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Homer Stairs and Marian Noullet Stairs; his former wife Elizabeth Esther Farkas; and his brother Sherman. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his son Jon Kevin; and his grandchildren, Jon Kolin and Kaylea Esther.
