With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Benita Post of Havre de Grace, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Benita left this world on October 9, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Salas Gonzalez and Maria Luisa Hernandez Hernandez; her husband Delbert Joe Post; and her siblings, Carlos Salas, Carmen Salas and Maria Salas.
She is survived by: her children, Albert "Al" Post, Linda Post, Edna Reilly and Nancy Hurst; and her siblings, Pablo Salas, Juan J. Salas, Jr., Francisco Salas, Jose'L. Salas, Hector Salas, Edwin Salas, Julio Salas, Raul Salas, Heriberto Salas and Eleuteria Salas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home (1493 Clayton St, Perryville, MD 21903). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery (11501 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117).
