He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Pollitt and Bertiste Pollitt (Horseman); his brothers, James Jr. and Timothy; and his nephew Matthew Pollitt.

He is survived by: his nephew Michael Pollitt (Debbie Pollitt); his wife Shriley; his son Christopher; his daughter-in-law Angie; his grandchildren, Tyler and Jordyn Gobble (Jeffrey); his great grandchild Coast William Gobble of Perryville; his sister-in-law Barbara Pollitt; his niece Morgan Pollitt; his cousin Phillip Perry (Lynn); his nieces, Kristin Sorcic and Kori Johansen; and his sister-in-law Jean Pollitt-Nelson (Mike).
