Jayla leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jayla’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jayla will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She is survived by: her parents, Jeffery Barton Jr. and Ishante'Brown; and her siblings, Kimora, A'jon, Jackie Jr. and Jakai. She is also survived by extended family, friends, caregivers.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bethel Christian Center (21 N Earlton Rd Ext, Havre De Grace, MD 21078).
