She was predeceased by: her parents, Rabe Holcomb and Dora Love Mahan; her stepfather Charles Mahan; her children, Anita Burke and Robert "Robbie" James; and her sister Gail Parks.
She is survived by: her husband Robert James, Sr.; her daughters, Brenda Griffey (Rick) and Debbie Van Marter (Clint); her grandchildren, Zachary Griffey (Melanie), Justin Griffey (Lauren), Brandon Slicer (Jenina), Andrew Slicer and Megan Atterson (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Abby Griffey, Brayden Griffey, Jeremiah Edwards, Alyssa Slicer, Reagan Griffey, Cole Griffey and Amelia Atterson; and her siblings, Eddie, Jerry Mahan and Carol Schultz.
