He was predeceased by: his father Hubbard Vaught; his children, Keith Allen Vaught and Lorie Vaught; and his siblings, Jerry Vaught, Thomas Vaught and Lois Emory.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Marie Vaught; his son Kent Vaught (Danielle) of Havre; and his grandchildren, Keith and Madison Vaught. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
