With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosalie Hunter Thompson of Havre de Grace, Maryland, who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred R. Hunter and Virginia Hunter (Carpenter); her brother Alfred Reeves Hunter II; and her husbands, Andrew Anderson Thompson II, Josiah Van Kirk Thompson II and Robert Wade Dale II.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Chang, Lida Lawrence, Andrew, Samuel, Alfred, Daniel and Barton Thompson; and her stepchildren, C. Thayer Cooper, Josiah Thompson, Beatrix Jakotich, Gayle Abrams, Ellen Adams, Robert Dale III and Elizabeth Gerrard. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
