It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William W. Mentzer of Havre de Grace, Maryland, who passed away on February 17, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clarence Mentzer and Clara Lillian Mentzer (Jones); his wife Patricia Patton Mentzer; and his siblings, James Mentzer, Ralph Mentzer, Roy Mentzer, Irene Mentzer Danner, Betty Ann Mentzer Hutchison and J. Noble Mentzer.
He is survived by: his children, W. Laura Patton Mentzer, Ellen Mentzer Ennis (late Larry Allyn Ennis) and William Eric Mentzer (Jennifer Thompson); his grandchildren, Christine Ennis Newkirk (Drew Newkirk, Sr.), Clara Marie Ennis (Connor Black), Claudia Heiger Ennis (Robert Miskimon), Jessica Irene Mentzer Hendrick (Gustaf), Lauren Emily Mentzer, Samantha Swarm (Bryce) and Alex Costigan (James); and his great grandchildren, Mikayla Christine Newkirk, Drew Kelly Newkirk, Jr., Isla Swarm and Ava Swarm.
