He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin A. Phippin Sr. and Marie Crockett Phippin; and his brothers, Benjamin "Allen" Phippin and Robert "Bob Wayne" Phippin. He is survived by: his daughters, Allie Cramer (Eric) and Wendy Maxwell (Jeff); his stepson Donnie Baker; his grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Gracey, Kennerly, John Pratt Cramer, Makayla, Nathanial, Kristian Hearn, Sophia Maxwell and Taylor Baker; his close friend Maggi Weidler; his brothers, Don (Barbara Phippin) and Gordy (Karen Phippin); and his close friend Tommy Banks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eddie's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, two organizations he proudly supported throughout his life.
