It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary D. Rankin of Highland, Maryland, who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Robert L. M. Donals; her brother James D. Day; and her grandson Christopher Lee Donals. She is survived by: her husband Richard Lee Rankin; her daughter Mary Pat Donals; her sisters, Donna Moore (Charles B. Moore) and Camilla Buczek (Richard C. Buczek); and her great grandchild Chelsea LaDow.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi (8300 Old Columbia Rd, Fulton, MD 20759). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (1300 Bladensburg Rd NE, Washington, DC 20002).
