She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, Apurva Desai and Parag Desai; her daughter-in-law Urvi Patel Desai; her grandson Rithik Desai; her brother Chandresh Desai (Meena); her brothers-in-law, Harshad Desai (Jayshree), Dushyant Desai (Sachala) and Janak Desai (Shefali); her parent Bansirao Desai; and her parent-in-law Sushila Desai. She was also cherished by cousins, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the following charities that Tarini supported: Feeding America; the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals; or the World Wildlife Fund.
