With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mearl Wood of Hollywood, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Ann Connelly Wood and George Eugene "Chip" Wood. He is survived by: his wife Karen Bishop Wood; his children, Deborah Jones (Joe) of Albertville, AL, David Wood (Joann) of Leonardtown, MD and Rebecca Litten (Donnie) of Leonardtown, MD; his grandchildren, Joe Paul Jones, Jason Jones, Joshua Wood, Shelby Litten Frazier, Emily Litten and Shannen Litten; and his siblings, Patsy Burger and Ronald Wood (Gail).
