He is survived by: his wife Joyce Knapp of Hollywood, MD; his sister Barbara Gwaltney of New Bern, NC; his niece Judy Fowler (Rich) of New Bern, NC; his nephew Donald Frost (Valery); his mother-in-law Mary Nicholson; his brother-in-law Michael Nicholson (Kathy); his nephews, Donny and Daniel; his niece Liz; his sister-in-law Beverly Pleasant (Doug); and his nephews, Greg Jr. and Adam.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home (22955 Hollywood Rd, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Park (13800 Bedford Rd NE, Cumberland, MD 21502).
