He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raymond and Shirley Mae Gibson (Cranford); and his brother Dennis Gibson. He is survived by: his brother Roy Gibson (Debbie) of Dadeville, AL; his nephews, Christopher Gibson (Misty Kirk), Eric Gibson (Tiffany), Robert Gibson (Ann) and Philip Gibson (Margaret); his niece Denise Claffy; and his sister-in-law Peggy Gibson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's name can be made to the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department.
