She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder William Wesley Sampson and Clara Elizabeth Sampson; her siblings, Leon Sampson, Wendell Sampson, Geneva Sampson and Mary Agnes Sampson; and her great grandchild Ja'Brion Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis Harris; her children, Lynette Sampson and Rhett Sampson (Dionne); her grandson William Sampson; her daughter Sherry Lake (James); her stepdaughter Tricia Ann Harris; her grandson William Beasley Jr.; her great grandchild Nora Beasley; her sisters, Geraldine Adams and Margaret Sampson; her siblings-in-law, Beulah Grey, Louise Riley, Maggi Mills, Georgia Harris, Venetia Harris, Faith Harris, Lebert Grey, Conrad Harris and Evelyn Sampson of Hurlock, MD.; her close friends, Clara Jean Banks, Sandra Lee and Ann Barnes; Vanessa Dobson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hurlock United Methodist Church (502 S Main St, Hurlock, MD 21643). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
