He was predeceased by: his adoptive father Robert Carter; and his pet Sasha. He is survived by: his mother Saundra Carter; his children, Demarcus Thornton, Calvin Mason, Corey Lewis, Sr., Kevin McLean, Kiara Johnson, Victoria Jones-Christian (Makonnen), Makayla Jones and Ymar Coleman; his siblings, Idell Morse, Antonio Jones, Shirley Jones, Jr. (Lisa), Imogene Jones, Glenn Jones, Sr. (Donna) and Eric Holmes; and his pet Mocha. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
