It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Patricia Silver (Hyattsville, Maryland), who passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Claudia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Claudia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Jb Jenkins Funeral Home (7474 Landover Rd, Hyattsville, MD 20785). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Museum of African American History & Culture in Claudia's memory.
