He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Smith; his children, Jerome Spencer Jr. and Tamara Swinson (Ilandus); his grandsons, Ilandus Jr., Isaiah and Tamir Swinson; his siblings, Warren Randall (Pat) and Linda Coates (Robert); and his sister-in-law Evelyn Spencer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
