He was predeceased by: his son-in-law James Kiernan. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Paula, Heather (Christos), Nicholas (Arianna) and Lindsay (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Emily, Penelope and Andreas; his sister-in-law Barb; and his nephews, Brent and Bryan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gasch's Funeral Home (4739 Baltimore Ave, Hyattsville, MD 20781). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at 125 Crescent Rd, Greenbelt, MD 20770.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Maryland Food Bank.
