She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Whelcher and Katie Whelcher; her siblings, Grace Wallace, Margaret Gardner, Mildred Bryant and Freddie; and her siblings' children, Charles Wallace and Jean Wallace.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Morris and Denise Dory (Michael); her grandchildren, Toya Iverson (Ivan), William Joyner, III, Ryan Dory (Alyssa), Tanja Dory, Kyle Dory (Gretchen) and Quinn Dory (Alejandro); her great grandchildren, Bryce Dory, Jacey Void, Bailey Void, Rylan Dory and Luca Dory; and her sibling's children, Ronald Wallace (Amy), Troy Wallace, Tanika Wallace and Ronald Wallace, Jr. (Kendra).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jb Jenkins Funeral Home (7474 Landover Rd, Hyattsville, MD 20785). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery (4001 Suitland Rd, Hillcrest Heights, MD 20746).
