She was predeceased by: her sisters, Madie Jackson and Clara Mae Hamilton; her spouse Fatress Lee Majette; her son Larry H. Majette; and her nephews, Fredrick Gatling and Bernard Bailey.
She is survived by: her brother Fred Warren Gatling; her sons, Edward E. Majette (Bettie), Elton L. Majette and Fatress O. Majette; her grandchild Tyra E. Majette; her nieces and nephews, Linda Singleton, Susan Gatling (DeLeon), Gus Jackson (Fontaine) and Vernon Hamilton; her friend Betty Davis Gates; and her daughters, Lynn Thore and Lisa Anne Banks.
