We bid farewell to Lynn Coan (Hyattsville, Maryland), born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 30, 2025 at the age of 77. Lynn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelmina Redmond Coan and S. Conrad Coan; and his brothers, Harold Redmond Coan and Donald Heard Coan. He is survived by: his wife LaRue; his children, Robert and Ericka; his siblings, J. Maxim, Shirley Wight, Sharron Owens and Joy Smith; and his grandson Matthew Crittenden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden (3600 Brightseat Rd, Lanham, MD 20785). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
