She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jenkins and Elnora White Jenkins; her husband Wilbert Dean Miles, Sr.; and her sisters, Diane Hines, Iris Hollis, Helen Desouza and Joyce Joseph.
She is survived by: her sons, Wilbert Dean Miles, Jr. (Lillian) of California, David Lee Miles (Nicole) of Maryland and Brian Miles (Lenore) of North Carolina; her stepdaughter Terry Wicker; her siblings, Elmarie Johnson, Dorthey Harvey, Joseph Jenkins, Jr. and Larry Jenkins; her grandchildren, Victoria, Brandon, Brielen, Zoe, Cameron, Yasmeen, Andre, Morgan, Madison, Devin and Rita; and her great grandchild Xian. She is also survived by family members and friends.
