She is survived by: her friends, Minnie Fitzhugh and Vinna Freeman; her children, Karen McGill-Butler (Christopher) and Kelly McGill, Jr. (Daphne); her cousin Arnita Williams; her grandchildren, Erin Simmons (Jereme), Kiah McGill and Makayla McGill; her great grandchildren, Kendall Simmons and Camryn Simmons; and her close friend Marie Buncombe-Dodd. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
