She is survived by: her children, Denise Bethea and Anthony Bethea; her daughter-in-law Brenda Bethea; her stepdaughter Joann Spencer; her grandchildren, Curtis Bunn (South Africa), Paul Greenfield-Bethea of Jacksonville, NC, Brittani Bethea and Anthony Bethea Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Elena and Edward of Jacksonville, NC.
