He is survived by: his children, Guy Louis Isles (DeFreitas), Kamili DeFreitas Fields (DeFreitas), Lisa Isles (DeFreitas), Jennifer DeFreitas and Marcus Fields; his stepdaughters, Debrah (Richard Little) and Dawn (George McCormick); his brother Louis A. DeFreitas, Sr.; and his close friend Beverly Betz-Zachery. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
