She was predeceased by: her siblings, Vivian Miller Thompson and Robert Miller Jr.. She is survived by: her son Walter Charles Jernigan III; her daughter-in-law April Gaines Jernigan; her grandchild TieSha Jernigan Carter; and her great grandchildren, Xavier and Chloe Carter. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
