He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathleen Stewart; and his parents, Robert Stewart and Annabelle Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Anne Stewart; his children, Steven Stewart Jr., Scott Stewart and Sara Yormie (John Yormie); and his sisters, Melissa Cruz, Sharon Garlach, Rosemary Hill and Amy Crowe.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gasch's Funeral Home (4739 Baltimore Ave, Hyattsville, MD 20781). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Maryland Veteran Cemetery - Crownsville Maryland (1122 Sunrise Beach Rd, Crownsville, MD 21032).
