Vera Mae (Redman) Majett Obituary

Vera M. Majett, 99, passed away on Friday, Mar. 13, 2026.

Born on Jun. 16, 1926, in Petersburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Carrie Redman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Majett, in 1979; a son, Steven Majett, and two brothers, William Redman and infant James Redman.

Surviving are two daughters, Andrea Royal and Vera Orlando; five sons, Andrew Majett Jr., Alexander Majett, Phillip Majett, Nicolas Majett, and Gerald Majett; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
