Jackie White wrote a sympathy message

“My name is Jacqueline White, I worked directly with Vernessa at The General Services Administration as a Contracting Officer for several years. Not only did we work together on the same team. We also became friends. Vernessa had a very funny spirit and often talked about her Son and sister. She truly loved her family. Hearing of Vernessa's Transition was totally a shock. I was so very sad to hear the news. May God keep you strong during this most difficult time. Keeping you in my prayers. Jackie”
