He is survived by: his wife Bernice M. Bridegum (Foust); his grandchildren, Daniel Bridegum (Jessica Scadron Bridegum), Clifton Bridegum (Melissa Lowry Bridegum), Melissa Bridegum, Mathew Nyce, Stephen Nyce, David Bridegum and Brooke Bridegum; and his great grandchildren, Lilly Gilmore, Ray Gilmore, Cole Bridegum, Colt Bridegum, Letty Sanchez, Amanda Bridegum and Cora Bridegum.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Student Center (4201 Knox Rd, College Park, MD 20740).
