He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Buchanan and Evelyn Buchanan; his wife Kay Buchanan; his son Michael Buchanan; and his sisters, Betty-Gay Lowe and Jane Roution. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
