With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Loraine Cockerham (Indian Head, Maryland), who passed away on August 13, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Mathews and Essie Burrell Mathews; her husband Daniel Eugene Cockerham, Sr.; and her siblings, Jack Mathews, Wayne Mathews and Juanita Coomes.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Eugene Cockerham, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Lisa M. Shumaker; her granddaughters, Ashley Cockerham, Lauren Balderson (Jeremy) and Megan Allen (Mark); her great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Grace, Teenie, Gabriel, Amelia, Ashton and Spencer; her siblings, David Mathews, Bobby Mathews (Wanda) and Jean Rogers; and her sister-in-law Janet Mathews.
