She was predeceased by: her significant other Joseph Sylvester Branson, Jr.; and her parents, Walter A. Proctor and Maude C. Proctor (Young). She is survived by: her children, Robert, Gary, Carolyn and Michael (Orlando); her brothers, Thomas Proctor (Eleanor) and James Proctor (Genevieve); her grandson Robert Tywaughn; her siblings, Hattie Adams (Henry) and Joseph Proctor (Shirley); and her close friends, Gloria Jefferson, Sandra Gray, Phyllis Thomas and Joan Bransome. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
