She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Robert Carter and Helen Theresa Carter; her husbands, Thomas Marbury and Numa Sylvie; her son Lional Dwight “Dike “Marbury; her siblings, Benjamin “Brother” Carter, Kenneth "Kenny" Carter, Carl” Piggy” Carter and Marilyn "Meryl" Rotan; and her daughter-in-law Marie "Lorraine" Marbury.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara "Barbara Ann" Jameson; her children, Thomas "Dwain" Marbury, Deborah "Debbie" Smith and Denise "Nene" Marbury-Hargrove; and her niece Tonya Greenhow (Hunis). She is also survived by eight Grandchildren, sixteen Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild; nephews, in-laws, and many other relatives and friends.
